Trent Parke: Minutes to Midnight

In 2003, Trent Parke began a road trip around his native Australia, a monumental journey that was to last two years and cover a distance of over 90.000 km. Minutes to Midnight is the ambitious photographic record of that adventure, in which Parke presents a proud but uneasy nation struggling to craft its identity from different cultures and traditions.

Cape Cod Modern: Midcentury Architecture and Community on the Outer Cape

In the summer of 1937, Walter Gropius, founder of the Bauhaus and a professor at Harvard's new Graduate School of Design, rented a house on Planting Island, near the base of Cape Cod. There, he and his wife, Ise, hosted a festive reunion of Bauhaus masters and students who had recently emigrated from Europe: Marcel Breuer, Herbert Bayer, László Moholy-Nagy, Xanti Schawinsky and others. Together they feasted, swam and planned their futures on a new continent, all sensing they were on the cusp of a momentous new phase in their lives.

Understanding Frame Measurements

All EPØKHE frame measurement markings can be found on the inside of the left temple (side arm), you'll see a 7 digit number that looks like this:

Lens Width [] Bridge Width Temple Length

This information describes the size of your glasses. The first two digits are the lens width. The second two digits are the bridge width and the third three digits are the temple or side length. All measurements are given in millimeters.
